How does Sync-av work?
You fill in the quote form with your event's technical needs. We request quotes from experienced AV companies in Türkiye on your behalf and send them to you side by side. You compare them and choose.
Do I pay Sync-av anything?
No. Sync-av is free for organizers. Our share is paid by the partner AV company.
Who do I pay, and who invoices me?
You pay the AV company that provides the service directly. Invoicing, VAT and the payment method (bank transfer, card) are agreed with that company. Sync-av does not take any payment from you.
Which currency are the quotes in?
Quotes come from the AV companies, usually in Turkish lira (TRY). On request they can quote in EUR or USD; choose your preferred currency in the form.
How quickly will I get quotes?
On business days we get back to you within 24 hours of your request to clarify your needs; requests sent at the weekend are answered on the next business day. Quotes from the companies usually arrive within 1–2 business days, and we email them to you side by side.
Which cities do you cover?
Mainly İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Antalya. For other regions of Türkiye, such as Cappadocia, we work to find suitable local AV companies on request.
What if the crew has to travel to my event?
Travel and accommodation costs for the crew are listed separately in the company's quote, so you can compare the quotes including these items.
Will the on-site crew speak English?
We can't guarantee it. For requests from international clients we give priority to companies with English-speaking crew, and this is confirmed with the company at the quote stage.
Can I write to you in English?
Yes. You can fill in this form in English and contact us in English by email or WhatsApp.
Do I need a confirmed venue?
No. If you are still looking, tell us the city you have in mind and we will start from there.
Can you handle multilingual events?
Yes. Select simultaneous interpretation in the form and list the languages. We ask the companies to quote for interpreter booths, infrared systems and headsets.
Do you provide interpreters?
No. Sync-av collects quotes for simultaneous interpretation equipment only (booths, infrared systems, headsets); we do not provide interpreters. For AI-powered live translation there is the Sync-scribe option.
What about deposits and cancellation?
Each AV company applies its own terms, which are stated in its quote. You see these terms before you sign.
Can I contact the AV company directly?
Yes. Once you have agreed with a company, you can work with them directly. We coordinate during the process when needed.
