Privacy Notice

This is the English version of our Turkish privacy notice (KVKK Aydınlatma Metni), prepared under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Sync-av (a sole proprietorship of Serhat Yavuzyılmaz) ("Sync-av", "Platform") as data controller, within the scope described below. You can contact us at destek@sync-av.co.

2. Personal data we process

Identity (name and surname), contact details (email, phone), company or contact person details where provided, the event and request details you send us (date, venue, number of attendees, technical needs, etc.), the time the form was submitted, your IP address and which link brought you to our site (campaign tag and, if you came from an ad, the search term and Google Ads click ID, landing page, name of the referring site).

3. Purposes

Running the quote or application process, matching your request with suitable AV companies, contacting you and providing the service.

4. Legal basis

Under Article 5 of the KVKK: processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, and for the legitimate interests of the data controller; where required, your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

Your data may be transferred, only for the purposes above and to the extent necessary, to approved AV and supplier companies that can fulfil your request, and to the infrastructure providers we use to deliver our service: web hosting and form records (Netlify), backup form delivery (FormSubmit), automatic notification emails (EmailJS), visit statistics (Google Analytics), our email inbox service and, if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta). Some of these providers are located outside Türkiye, so your data is transferred abroad.

Cookies and measurement tools

Only if you give your consent, our site uses Google Analytics for visit statistics and to measure the results of our Google ads, and the Meta Pixel to measure the effect of our Meta ads. These tools may place cookies in your browser and send Google and Meta the pages you visit, which link brought you to our site and the fact that you successfully submitted a form (without the information you entered in the form). This information is not used for personalised advertising (remarketing). The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). If you do not consent, these tools are not loaded and our forms still work. You can change your choice at any time below or with the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of our pages. As Google and Meta are located outside Türkiye, this data is transferred abroad.

6. How we collect data

Your data is collected electronically through the forms on our website, or when you message us on WhatsApp.

7. Retention

Data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods set by the applicable legislation; after that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to have it corrected, to request its deletion or destruction, to object to the processing and to claim compensation for any damage. You can send your requests to destek@sync-av.co.
